Notice to the Superintendent of Raipur Central Jail, not given to interrogate the coal trader
Raipur. Coal trader Suryakant Tiwari is lodged in Raipur’s Central Jail in a money laundering case. ED has made this businessman an accused. A case has also been registered against the businessman in Bengaluru in connection with misbehavior with IT officers and call recovery. Karnataka Police is wandering in Raipur for the last 4 days for questioning in this matter. The investigation team that came from Karnataka neither got cooperation in the jail nor in the hospital.
Now the special court of Raipur has taken up this matter strictly. Show cause notice has been given to the Superintendent of Raipur Central Jail in this matter. The Karnataka team was repeatedly avoided saying that the health of the businessman was not good. On Friday evening, April 21, the Jail Superintendent and the hospital management have to answer in the court in this matter. The businessman has been claimed to be undergoing treatment at Ambedkar Hospital. The Karnataka Police had sought permission from the court for questioning.
