Notorious female Naxalite who murdered in the forest arrested

Bijapur : The police have succeeded in arresting a woman Naxalite who was involved in various incidents in Gangalur area from the hospital premises. According to the police, after the information that the female Naxalite Jan Militia member Rukhni Punem alias Namita Gayata, father Somlu, age 24, resident of Pusnar police station Gangalur, who was involved in various incidents in the Gangalur police station area, was seen in the Gangalur hospital premises, the team of women police led by the station in-charge. After reaching the hospital premises, they succeeded in catching the said female Naxalite.

Woman Naxalite Rukhni Punem alias Namita Gayata was involved in various incidents that took place in Gangalur police station area. In which on August 27, 2021, in the incident of looting ration and cattle from the house of Ayatu Punem, a resident of Pusnar Gorgepara, on April 8, 2021, in the incident of assault on Somlu Potam, a villager of Dhurvapara Pusnar, and in the incident of looting ration material and cattle from the house, on July 21, 2021, in Dhurvapara Pusnar. She has been involved in the incident of killing 3 villagers and on August 8, 2021, in the incident of assaulting Sudru Punem, resident of Dhurvapara Pusnar, and her family and looting ration material and cattle from their house. Four permanent warrants are pending in Gangalur police station against the captured female Naxalite. Legal action has been taken against the said woman Naxalite in Gangalur police station and she has been presented before the court in Bijapur.
