Now Anil Tuteja’s troubles will increase in the bullet proof jacket scam
Raipur. The ghost of the scam in the purchase of bullet proof jackets worth Rs 13 crore in the Bhupesh Baghel government in the state has come out once again. A letter has been written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting to investigate the matter. In March also, letters were written to the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Home Minister Vijay Sharma. Home Minister Sharma had said that an investigation will be conducted if there is concrete evidence. In the letter written to the Prime Minister, it has been claimed that in the Bhupesh government, poor quality bullet proof jackets were purchased by playing with the security of the soldiers for donations.
On the instructions of MD Anil Tuteja of the Industry Department, the Police Headquarters purchased it from M/s Pragati Defense System Private Limited of Bilaspur as per the pre-determined plan. Even the rules were changed for this. The responsibility was given to that company, which had never done such work.
It has been claimed in the letter that the file was sent back to the Police Headquarters twice by the Home Department in view of the possibility of irregularities in the purchase. However, Tuteja used his influence to get the file signed by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. The bullet proof jackets that were supplied were not of the passed sample. Naresh Gupta of Raipur has written a letter to the Prime Minister and again requested for an investigation.
