Due to which, now depressed or mental patients will get the facility of free counseling from psychiatrists and expert counselors 24 hours from the comfort of their homes. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mahesh Verma said that to get consultation from psychiatrists at home, mental patients can call 24 hours toll free number 14416 or 1800-89-14416 and contact Tele Manas Center for treatment and consultation with psychiatrists. can be taken. For this, the problems of the patients will be identified on tele-psychiatry services and then consultation as well as treatment facilities will be provided if required. In this way, people will not need to go anywhere for the diagnosis of depression, sleeplessness, stress in interpersonal relationships, intellectual and emotional problems of children and toll free service will be available to the people without revealing their identity. Counselors will be provided by mental health experts for online counseling at the call centre. Those patients who will be advised to personally meet the doctor through the call centre, such patients will get treatment from a psychiatrist in the hospital of the Medical College. Dr. Verma also said that special attention will be given to school and college level students.
