Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh today by virtually connecting with Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath. An amount of Rs 655 crore 57 lakh was transferred by the Prime Minister to 70 lakh 12 thousand 800 eligible applicants of the scheme by pressing the button through DBT. Under this scheme, now married mothers and sisters in Chhattisgarh will get one thousand rupees per month and 12 thousand rupees per year regularly.

I should have reached among you today, but due to different programs, today I am in Uttar Pradesh and am speaking from Kashi. Last night I paid obeisance to Baba Vishwanath and prayed for the well-being of all the countrymen. Got an opportunity to talk to you from the land of Baba Vishwanath. I certainly congratulate you. Baba Vishwanath is also blessing you. It was not possible to organize this program on March 8 due to Shivratri, but today one thousand rupees are reaching from Baba Bhole’s city along with Bhole Baba’s blessings are also reaching. This money will keep coming into your accounts every month without any hassle. This is my trust on the government of Chhattisgarh, I am guaranteeing this. When mothers and sisters are empowered, the entire family is empowered. The priority of the double engine government is the welfare of our mothers and sisters. Today the family is getting a permanent house and that too in the name of women, Ujjwala is getting cheap cylinder and that too in the name of women. More than 50 percent of Jan Dhan accounts are in the name of women. More than 65 percent of Mudra loans have been taken by women, especially young daughters. He started his work.
In the last ten years, our government has changed the lives of more than 10 crore women through self-help groups. Due to the efforts of our government, till now more than one crore lakhpati didis have become. Villages have become such a big economic power. Seeing this success, we decided to take a bigger leap. Paddy farmers of Chhattisgarh were guaranteed two years of outstanding bonus. Chhattisgarh government transferred Rs 3716 crore to the accounts of farmers on the occasion of Atal ji’s birthday. We had given a guarantee that we will purchase paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal. This promise was fulfilled and a record was created by purchasing 145 metric tons of paddy. The difference amount purchased will be paid to the farmer brothers soon. Development works will be increased in the coming five years. You will have a big participation in this.
