NSG commandos did counter terrorism exercise in Raipur, Video
Raipur. A three-day counter terrorism exercise was conducted by the National Security Guard (NSG) team in Raipur district from 21.02.24 to 23.02.24. This exercise was conducted at Circuit House in Naya Raipur, Mantralaya Bhawan and Magneto Mall in Telibandha. The main objective of the three-day drill of (NSG) was to practice the preparedness of the state police and (NSG) to deal with the terrorist attack and hostage situation in Raipur. More than 150 (NSG) Black Cat commandos from Mumbai and Delhi took part in this exercise.
From the state side, more than 200 officers and jawans of Raipur Police and two teams of Special Task Force (STF) participated. Earlier such exercise was done in Chhattisgarh in the year 2017. The objective of the mock drill is to prepare the various security agencies and NSG of the state in case of any terrorist incident in the state. To establish coordination between commands and expand capacity as per future security requirements. After the exercise, a debriefing meeting was held and necessary feedback was shared and detailed discussions were held regarding future preparations.
