NSUI leader arrested in minor rape case
Ambikapur. NSUI District Vice President Afsar Ali has been accused of rape in Ambikapur. The victim is a student of class 11th. On the pretext of marriage, the accused took her to a hotel and resort and raped her several times. Along with this, it is also alleged that the father of the accused also offered Rs 10 lakh to the mother of the minor. The case is of Ambikapur Kotwali police station area.
The victim lodged a report in the Kotwali police station, after which the police arrested the accused Afsar Ali and another of his accomplices. According to reports, the accused Afsar Ali, who is also an NSUI leader, lured the girl student into a love trap and promised to marry her. After marriage, the accused also talked about making the victim a doctor. After falling for the hoax, the accused also took him to Mainpat resort. Also made relations with him in the hotel of the city. After committing rape several times, Afsar Ali refused to marry.
On refusing to marry, the minor girl student started getting very upset. The student also tried to commit suicide. Whose information came to the victim’s mother. On being asked by the mother, the victim told the whole incident. After knowing the incident, the mother reached the house of the accused with her daughter. Along with this, the family also tried to talk to the family members of the accused. During this, Afsar Ali’s father told his mother to give Rs 10 lakh. The father of the accused youth said that I will get your daughter married to a boy in Bihar.
Take 10 lakh rupees and leave my son. Angered by the matter of giving Rs 19 lakh, the family lodged a complaint at the Kotwali police station. On which the police also took action and arrested the accused officer Ali and one of his accomplices. On whom many sections including rape have been imposed and sent to jail. Surguja SP said that the victim is a minor and the matter is sensitive. That’s why the police is also refraining from giving more information. Afsar Ali, accused of raping a minor, is said to be the district vice-president of NSUI. Due to which he has also been seen many times with the leader-minister.
