NTR Bharosa pension distributed across the state
Vijayawada: As per the assurance given by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu before the elections, NTR Bharosa pensions were distributed across the State on Thursday, the first day of the month of August. Ward and village secretariat employees visited the houses of the beneficiaries and handed over the pensions. District collectors issued strict orders to the employees to start distributing pensions by 6 am and complete it as soon as possible. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu distributed pensions at K Gundumala village in Madakasira mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district on Thursday. More than 98 per cent of the pensions were distributed in the State by evening. The elderly received social security pensions of Rs 4,000 and physically handicapped persons Rs 6,000. The State government has made arrangements to distribute pensions and complete them at all costs on August 1. People’s representatives, district collectors, joint collectors, municipal commissioners, corporators and others participated in the pension distribution and interacted with the elderly. The beneficiaries were happy to receive the pension of Rs 4,000 assured by NDA leaders Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan.
