Number of dengue patients increased to 141, again 2 people found positive
Bhilai: In Sector-2 of the township, again two people have been confirmed to have dengue. Along with these two, the report of one person each resident of Kelabari fort and Priyadarshini complex has also come positive on Thursday. With these four new patients, the total number of dengue patients found in the district since July 21 has gone up to 141.
Including both the new patients, a total of four patients have been found in Sector-1 of the township. It is good that both the patients who were found earlier have been discharged. Both the new patients of the township, BM Shah, the patient of Priyadarshini complex, Sector-9 and the patient of Kelabari are admitted in the district hospital.
At present, a total of 16 dengue patients are admitted in different hospitals in the district. Due to being healthy, 125 patients have been discharged. There is no traveling history of any patient among the new patients. All of them have been infected with the virus within five days. Diarrhea, which has been spreading for three days in Dabra Para of Bhilai, is not over yet. According to the Health Department, again 4 new patients have been found there on Thursday. All the patients have been cured only after taking the medicine from Bhilai-3 Hospital. The total number of diarrhea patients received so far from these new diarrhea patients has gone up to 25. One of these patients is still admitted. The Health Department has gone door-to-door and advised people to boil water and drink it.
