Nushrat Bharucha injured during the shooting of ‘Akeli’
Mumbai (IANS). Bollywood actress Nushrat Bharucha, who is gearing up for her upcoming release Akeli, spoke about an incident when she got injured. She fell hard on the marble floor during the shooting of the escape sequence in the film.
Due to the fall, she felt a lot of pain, she kept crying there for about half an hour holding her head.
After examining the doctor, Nusrat has been advised to take rest for a few days, after which she resumed the shooting.
Nusrat said: “We were shooting a scene where I try to escape from ISIS captivity. I fell on the floor while running and the pain was so severe that I felt severe injury, internal injury. Has come.”
The actress shared that the impact was so bad that for a minute she felt like she was going to die and felt like it was her last moment.
She further added, “I was advised rest for a few days and I am looking forward to getting back to shooting. ‘Akeli’ has been a truly wonderful experience that I will never forget.”
Akeli, directed by Pranay Meshram, deals with the story of a young woman’s freedom struggle.
The film is produced by Ninad Vaidya, Nitin Vaidya, Aparna Padgaonkar, Shashant Shah and Vicky Sidana of Dashmi Studios, and is slated to release across theaters on 18 August.
