Obscene comment on Sahu community, CG police arrested the accused from Puri city
lormi news. Police has arrested Prahlad Sharma, a resident of Lilapur under Chilfi police station area of Mungeli district, on charges of indecency against Sahu community and making obscene comments on Bhakti Mata Karma.
Let us tell you that the speed post sent by the accused went viral, on which hundreds of youths of Sahu community gheraoed Chilfi police station demanding immediate registration of crime and arrest of the accused. Police had registered a crime against the accused under several sections, but the accused could not be arrested.
On the other hand, a day earlier, hundreds of people of Sahu community had submitted a memorandum to the Lormi SDM regarding this incident and warned of a fierce agitation if the accused was not arrested within a week. After this, the police team arrested the accused from Puri city of Odisha. Lormi SDOP Madhuri Diary said that Chilfi police had registered an FIR against accused Prahlad Sharma who made derogatory remarks against Sahu community and he is being taken into custody and sent on judicial remand.
