Observer conducted surprise inspection of various polling stations

Gariaband. General Observer Anju Chaudhary, appointed by the Election Commission of India for Assembly Elections 2023, today took stock of polling station number 268 Swami Atmanand School and polling station number 271 Civil Line under Rajim Assembly constituency. Similarly, polling station number 5 Sadhauli and polling station number 11 Paragaon under Bindranavagarh assembly constituency were inspected. During this, Gariaband SDM Bhupendra Sahu, Tehsildar Praveen Porte and other officers were present.

Observer Anju Chaudhary reached the polling stations and took stock of the necessary arrangements like ramps, lights, drinking water and toilets and other arrangements. He inspected the wall writing done for voters’ information in the polling stations, the ramps made for disabled voters and other facilities available in the polling stations and gave necessary instructions regarding providing the required facilities in the polling stations. During this time the concerned booth level officers were present. Along with inspecting the polling station, he also met the villagers and motivated them to vote.
