Observers inspected the agricultural produce market counting complex
Kawardha: Under the Assembly Elections 2023, counting observer Hari Kumar Keshari of assembly constituency 71-Pandariya and counting observer Ramisetty Srilatha of assembly constituency 72-Kawardha inspected the agricultural produce market, Bilaspur Road, Kawardha on Saturday. The Collector said that the counting of votes for both the assembly constituencies, Kawardha and Pandariya, will be done in separate counting halls. Separate routes have been made for officers, employees, candidates and agents to reach the counting hall. Separate entrances have also been made for entry into the counting hall. Videography will be done to monitor the taking out of EVMs from the strong room to the counting hall, along with this CCTV cameras have also been installed. He told that a media center and communication center has been built in the counting complex and facilities of TV, computer, landline phone, internet and operator have been made available in the media centre. Taking electronic devices like mobile, calculator, laptop, Wi-Fi etc. to the counting venue is completely prohibited. Only media representatives can take mobile phones to the media center only.
During the inspection, Returning Officer of Pandariya Assembly Constituency Sandeep Thakur and Returning Officer of Kawardha Assembly Constituency PC Corey checked the counting tables of EVMs installed in their respective counting rooms and the counting tables installed for ballot papers, including the meeting arrangements of the candidates, various Gave detailed information about the meeting arrangements of the political party’s counting agents.
