Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to hoist National Flag in Bhubaneswar on 77th Independence Day
Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day, a grand celebration has been arranged at the Bhubaneswar Exhibition Grounds. A state level parade will take place, with CM Naveen Patnaik hoisting the national flag and addressing the gathering.
The exhibition ground has been sealed from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM for security reasons. CCTV cameras have been installed both inside and outside the ground. 15 platoons of police force along with 100 police officers have been deployed throughout the city.
Similarly, reinforced security measures have also been taken in the Maoist affected areas of the state. Vehicle checks have been implemented at borders, along with heightened vigilance on suspicious activities.
On the other hand, Government offices and administrative buildings have illuminated with colorful lights on the occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day.
Buildings like Raj Bhavan, Lok Seva Bhavan, Police Commissionerate office, Odisha Assembly, can be seen adorned with tri-color lights. The entire state is geared up for celebrating the country’s 77th Independence Day.
