Odisha: Shocking revelation in Subhalaxmi death case, deceased was a minor!
Bhubaneswar: In a shocking revelation in the Subhalaxmi death case, the deceased girl was a minor, said reliable reports.
This has been revealed from the college register of Subhalaxmi Jena that she was a minor. After this revelation, the Bhubaneswar DCP has sought a detailed report in this regard.
In the much-hyped case of Subhalaxmi’s death in a Bhubaneswar-based hotel cum bar, the DCP has confirmed that, “Subhalaxmi died by suicide.”
The DCP further affirmed that, the post-mortem as well as the probe reports confirmed that the girl has died by suicide.
Further investigation is underway to find out the reason behind the suicide, the DCP added. He also said that, there was nothing suspicious in her CDR.
The DCP said that the police have questioned her family members to get an idea about her mental state, he said. The DCP further confirmed that, no viral video has been found. “If any such clip is found, we will analyse it,” said the Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh.
It is worth mentioning that, the phone of the deceased bar dancer Subhalaxmi, had been sent to the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) in Bhubaneswar for further investigation. Mystery still shrouds around who is handling her Instagram account.
The police sources have informed that after the death of Subhalaxmi it has been found that all her posts on Instagram have been deleted. Further, it is worth mentioning that Subhalaxmi’s account has been made private.
The police is currently trying its best to find out the person who is handling Subhalaxmi’s personal Instagram account. In the Subhalaxmi death case, the Odisha Women’s Commission has raised concerns and has demanded an early and detailed probe into the matter.
The State Women’s Commission has directed the Commissionerate Police to submit a detailed report within 15 days.
On the other hand it is worth mentioning that, as many as 15 people have been questioned relating to this matter. Very soon Section 306 that is instigation tp commit suicide may be applied on a few of those questioned. The viscera report of Subhalaxmi is awaited. It will clarify whether she was under the influence of drugs when she died.
