Officers and employees took the oath of compulsory voting
Mahasamund: Today, on the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Prabhat Malik, under the Assembly General Election 2023, officers and employees in Collectorate Office, District Panchayat, Forest Department and all government offices took oath to vote. Under the voter oath taking oath, an oath was taken that “We the citizens of India, having full faith in democracy, will maintain the dignity of the democratic traditions of our country and will fearlessly practice religion while keeping intact the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections.” , will exercise their right to vote in all elections without being influenced by class, caste, community, language or any other inducement and will encourage disabled voters to vote.
After the oath, the slogan related to voter awareness campaign was read out. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer S. Alok, Joint Collector Shravan Kumar Tandon in the District Office, Deputy Collector Ashish Karma, District Treasury Officer Sandeep Chaudhary, Kirti Parashar in the Media Centre, Poshan Sahu, Sameer Pandey in the Women and Child Development Department administered the oath to their subordinate employees. Similarly, oath was also taken in the sub-divisional, tehsil and block and field offices of the district.
