Old man murdered by slitting his throat, dead body found soaked in blood
Bilaspur. An old man living in village Sellar of Sipat area was murdered by slitting his throat. Late in the evening, when relatives went to the fields in search of him, they found a blood-soaked body. The police, which reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took possession of the body and started investigation. The police had also called the dog squad on the spot for investigation. Police dog Rosie ran to the house of the suspect who lived one kilometer away from the incident site. After this the police is searching for the absconding suspect.
Kushal Sahu (70) was a farmer living in village Sellar of Sipat area. On Tuesday evening he had gone to the fields to look for water. After this he did not come home. On this the relatives went out in search of him late in the evening. His blood soaked body was found in the field. The relative informed the people of the village about the incident. Also this information was given to the police. Someone had killed the old man by attacking his neck with a sharp weapon. On receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the village and started investigation. Also, a team of forensic experts and dog squad were called on the spot. Police dog Rosie, running away from the incident site, reached the house of Deepak, son of Kushal Sahu, who lived one kilometer away. During interrogation it was revealed that Deepak was absconding from his house. The police are searching for him considering him a suspect.
The people of the village told that Kushal Sahu was having a dispute with his son Deepak regarding land. There was a dispute between father and son three-four days ago also on this issue. During this time, the village people calmed down the matter by giving advice to both the parties. Meanwhile, suspect Deepak is absconding from his house after the incident. The police team has collected information about his possible whereabouts from the people of the village. Based on this, the police team is raiding different places.
