Birla further said that as public representatives, MPs work tirelessly to address the problems of citizens, fulfill their needs and aspirations and address socio-economic problems. Referring to the changes made during his tenure in the Lok Sabha Secretariat to promote efficiency and economy, Birla said that during this period many new initiatives have also been taken and the use of technology in functioning has continuously increased. Many new efforts were made like e-office, member portal, digital parliament, digital library, digitization of documents, online streaming of parliamentary programs, increasing presence in social media and thinking camps.
