On the instructions of CM Sai, Mineral Department raided, 2 highways and 3 tractors seized

Sarangarh Bilaigarh. On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to act as per the law, under the direction of Collector Dr. Siddiqui, mineral raiding action has been taken in Sarangarh, Barmkela and Bilaigarh development blocks of the district. Under the leadership of Mining Officer HD Bhardwaj, a joint team of Police Department, Revenue Department and Mineral Department conducted a surprise inspection of village Timralga, Gudeli Sariya, Sarsiwa and Bhatgaon area. In Bhatgaon area, 02 tractors and 2 tractors involved in illegal transportation of mineral stones and 1 tractor involved in illegal transportation of mineral sand were found and 05 vehicles were seized on the spot.

Till further proceedings, the vehicles were handed over to the police station in-charge Bhatgaon and Sarsiwa. The operator took action against illegal storage crusher (Anil Kedia) in village Lala Dhurva by doing illegal storage. This action will be taken under Chhattisgarh Minor Mineral Rules 2015 and Section 21 of the Mines and Mineral Development Act 1957. Also, action against illegal excavation, transportation and storage will be continued on the instructions of Collector Dr. Siddiqui.
