On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, CM Adityanath performed ‘Rudrabhishek’ at Gorakhnath temple
Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on May 10. Pujya Goswami Acharya Pundarik Goswami of Radharaman Temple gave his blessings to the Chief Minister, who is also the chief priest or Mahant of Gorakhnath Temple. The Chief Minister performed Rudrabhishek with fruit juice and milk at the Shakipeeth of Gorakhnath temple. On this auspicious occasion, BJP candidate from Gorakhpur parliamentary seat Ravi Kishan also took blessings from Pundarik Maharaj Shri before starting his political journey. Ravi Kishan filed his nomination from Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency on Friday. Earlier, while talking to ANI, he said that he is happy to contribute to BJP winning more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. “I am very fortunate that I will be filing my nomination on the day of Akshaya Tritiya and more so that CM Yogi Adityanath himself will come to file the nomination. I urge all the citizens of Gorakhpur to come and support my nomination. The Chief Minister will also Will speak. It will be an important day to ensure that PM Modi wins with a huge majority from the land of Purvanchal. After Varanasi, Gorakhpur is the hottest seat in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath held this seat till 2017. Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency consists of five assembly seats, including Campierganj, Pipraich, Gorakhpur Urban, Gorakhpur Rural and Sahjanwa. Meanwhile, on 7 May, Pundarik Goswami Maharaj visited the Geeta Press, often called the “Yashoda Maiya” of the scriptures of Gorakhpur, gave his blessings and inspected the printing operations at Leela Chitra Mandir and the entire press.
