One arrested with 15 liters of Mahua liquor

Mahasamund: In the action of Basna police, a person has been arrested with 15 liters of Mahua liquor. In fact, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Rao and Sub-Officer (PU) Saraipali Abhishek Kesari have been directed to prevent and take action against illegal liquor sale and transportation.

Following the instructions, under the guidance of Inspector Ashish Wasnik police station in-charge Basna, on the information of informer, Thandaram Kosaria, accused of keeping Mahua liquor near Ward No. 05 Manjanimati overbridge, has been arrested. After taking action against the accused under Crime Number 491/2023 Section 34(2) of the Excise Act, the accused has been produced before the Honorable Court on judicial remand. The entire action was taken by Inspector Ashish Wasnik, Basna police station in-charge, Constable Kishore Sahu, Mukesh Behera, and Basna police station staff.
