One woman injured in firing in Delhi
New Delhi (IANS). A woman was injured in firing by unidentified persons in Delhi’s Kanjhawala area. The police gave this information on Tuesday.
According to a senior police officer, at around 12:32 am, a call was received from the police control room at Kanjhawala police station, informing about the incident.
A police team reached the spot at JJ Colony, Savda.
On arrival, it was found that unknown persons had fired at the main gate of the complainant’s house.
“A woman was injured in the firing and was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital,” the officer said.
The officer said, “A case has been registered under sections 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 25 of the Arms Act. Police teams are making efforts to nab the culprits.”
