Operate paddy procurement smoothly: Collector
Jagdalpur. Collector Vijay Dayaram K. In the time-bound meeting held in the Prerna meeting room of the district office, he said that the paddy procurement work should be conducted systematically and smoothly. In this direction, other arrangements should be ensured including availability of tokens to the farmers, availability of gunny bags in the paddy procurement centre. Also regularly inspect the status of paddy procurement.
He gave instructions to cut DO in case of buffer limit and to bring progress in paddy lifting. The Collector reviewed the preparations for Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in detail in the meeting and gave necessary instructions. He said that in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra program, information will be given about the beneficial schemes of the Government of India and the citizens who have not got the benefit of this scheme will be given information about the entire process of the scheme. Also, beneficiaries will be selected to benefit from the schemes.
Regarding the organization of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Collector said that the program is to be organized as per the prescribed route in rural and urban areas. He gave instructions to prepare the route chart for the yatra and ensure publicity.
He discussed the role of departments in the programme, public participation activity, formation of committee at Gram Panchayat, urban body level, invitation to local beneficiaries, preparation of cultural programme, self-help group, mobilization of village organisation, organizing session on agricultural activities, planning of schemes. Necessary instructions were given regarding sharing of experiences by successful beneficiaries and uploading of information in the data portal.
During the meeting, the Collector reviewed the status of paddy procurement, status of cutting of DO for paddy lifting, registration of millers etc. and stressed on getting the paddy lifted on target basis. He instructed all SDMs, Tehsildars, Patwaris and nodal officers of the monitoring group to continuously inspect the procurement centres. He stressed on maintaining constant vigil in the border areas.
Also, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, while checking the daily data of each committee of his section, should check the availability of gunny bags, the situation of cutting and procuring tokens of small, marginal and big farmers on the basis of 70-30 percent in paddy purchase.
The Collector asked in the meeting to increase digital payments through Bank Sakhi and in this direction gave instructions to attach Bank Sakhi of the concerned area to the paddy procurement centres. He reviewed the status of MRF and SLRM Centre, its progress regarding CEMART, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card with SADOs of all development blocks.
Apart from this, progress was made in the works under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Livestock Development Department schemes, Livelihood Mission works, intensive cataract screening, Bastar Area Development Authority item, Special Central Assistance item, District Mineral Trust Institute item and CSR item. Reviewed.
The Collector also gave instructions to get the pension cases of the employees of various departments resolved from the treasury, accounts and pension and also to resolve all the rights of the officers and employees retiring in the coming months on priority. On this occasion, DFO Uttam Gupta, CEO Prakash Sarve, Additional Collector CP Baghel, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Haresh Mandavi and other district level officers were present.
