Orders to close liquor shops from the evening of 15th November to the evening of 17th November

Mahasamund: Collector and District Magistrate Prabhat Malik announced the fixed date of voting for the second phase of Assembly General Elections 2023 in the state on 17 November 2023 (Friday) in Mahasamund district’s assembly constituency number 39-Saraipali, 40-Basna, 41-Khallari and 42. -In order to conduct the assembly election work in Mahasamund smoothly and impartially, using the powers given under Section 24 (1) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915, all the country liquor shops/country liquor shops composite/ located in the concerned assembly constituency. Foreign Liquor Shop Foreign Liquor Premium Shop, F.L. 3 Hotel bars and country liquor storage warehouse Mahasamund have been declared as “dry period” to remain closed from 5.00 pm on 15th November to 5.00 pm on 17th November 2023 i.e. till the end of voting. During the said period, all liquor transactions will be prohibited.
