Outbreak of mosquitoes amid flood situation in Delhi, dengue on the rise
The water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi is still above the danger mark. At the same time, in the midst of the flood situation, water logging from houses to roads has increased the trouble for the people. Due to waterlogging in Delhi, the outbreak of mosquitoes has increased a lot. Due to this, the cases of Dengue and Malaria are increasing rapidly in the capital.
Dengue cases are increasing in the last week. During the last one week, 56 cases of dengue have been registered. In the previous two weeks, a total of 51 cases of dengue had come. If seen in this way, the risk of dengue has almost doubled. At the same time, a total of 243 cases of dengue have been reported in Delhi this year.
Along with dengue, the risk of malaria has also increased in the capital. During the last one week, 11 cases of malaria have been reported in Delhi. So far this year, 72 cases of malaria have been reported.
However, it is a matter of relief that for the third consecutive week, not a single case of Chikungunya has been reported in Delhi. So far this year, 14 cases of Chikungunya have been reported.
