Over 300 two-wheeler vehicles gutted in fire in Vijayawada

Andhra Pradesh: In a recent case of fire accident, over 300 two wheeler vehicles were gutted in a massive fire which broke out at a bike showroom in Vijayawada. The incident took place in the morning hours of Thursday.

Reportedly, a short circuit was the reason behind the fire. However, no causalities were reported in the accident.

The fire broke out at a TVS showroom located in the KP Nagar area, near the Chennai-Kolkata national highway. The security present on the premises alerted the fire services who immediately reached the location.  The fire

The fire started from the first floor of the showroom and then quickly spread to the adjacent godown. As per reports from the officials, the usage of a pre-fabricated structure sped up the fire spread.

This area served as an important hub for the TVS vehicles within Vijayawada and its bordering districts. An investigation into the matter has been initiated by the local police. A loss of Rs 15 crore has been estimated.
