Oyo hotel sealed, complaint was received of unethical business

Durg. Sealing action was taken in Shivaji Nagar area on two buildings of hotel business running under the guise of Oyo App in the residential area of Corporation Bhilai. The corporation team under the leadership of MLA Rikesh Sen sealed two buildings on Road 6 in the name of Evening Star Inn and City Tower Inn through Oyo Registration App.

People of Ward 14 Shivaji Nagar area had lodged a complaint that unethical activities are being conducted in the name of hotel business through Oyo app in two buildings of residential area. Taking cognizance of the complaint, Vaishali Nagar MLA Rikesh Sen reached the spot along with the team of corporation and police administration and gave instructions for action. Corporation officials demanded the building owners Bajrang Yadav and Akash Kumar Yadav to show necessary government documents like building permit, Gumsta license, property tax receipt, shop establishment, hotel registration etc. on the spot. When the land owner expressed his inability to show the documents. After the police administration evacuated the building, the demolition squad of the corporation locked the building and sealed it.
