Doctor allegedly abused by patient’s relatives at SCB Medical in Cuttack
Cuttack: A doctor was allegedly abused by the relatives of a patient yesterday night in the SCB Medical College and hospital in Cuttack of Odisha. As per the allegation, an Assistant Professor, the Medical officer of the Casualty Department was allegedly abused. As many as two persons have been detained in this connection.
As per reports, three people came to the Casualty section of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack yesterday night in an inebriated state. They had come for treatment after bitten by dogs. They were also treated in the hospital. However, it has been alleged that they abused the on-duty doctor.
Following the incident the doctors at SCB were dissatisfied. They have demanded strict actions against the culprits. If strict action will not be taken against the culprits in the coming days, they would resort to stage protest, the doctors warned.
