State President of the Secretary Association Upendra Singh Paikara has announced that the Panchayat Secretaries will gherao the Assembly on March 17. From March 18, the Panchayat Secretaries will stage an indefinite sit-in protest at the block headquarters and will gherao the Ministry on April 1.
The Panchayat Secretary Association alleges that in the assembly elections, the promise of governmentization of Panchayat Secretaries was made in Modi’s guarantee. But even after one and a half years, it has not been implemented. The State President of the Panchayat Secretary Association also said that talks were held with the government several times regarding this matter, but no effective initiative has been taken so far. In such a situation, now the Secretary Association has adopted the path of agitation.
