Panchkula: One person died after being hit by a truck

Chandigarh: Ajay, a resident of Saini Vihar in Baltana, Mohali, informed that a truck driven by Satinder Pal of Dariya village collided with a scooter at Housing Board light point yesterday. The scooter rider Shashi Sharma, resident of Panchkula, sustained injuries and was admitted to PGI, where he died during treatment. The truck driver was arrested and later released on bail. A case has been registered at Mani Majra police station under sections 281, 125A, 106(1) of BNS.
