Parade of 40 knifemen in Tikrapara police station, instructions given to maintain peace on Holi

Raipur. Keeping in view the festival of Holi and the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh has given instructions to all the gazetted officers of the police station in-charge to trace the accused arrested in the old stabbing case and take necessary action.

On which the list of the accused arrested in the stabbing case was received from the senior office by all the gazetted police officers and station in-charges. After collecting information and searching the addresses of the accused from the received list, all the police stations of Purani Basti section, Tikrapara, Police Station Purani Basti, Police Station D.D. In the first round, the police station in-charge of Nagar, police station New Rajendra Nagar Raipur, appeared in the premises of police station Tikrapara Raipur with a total of 40 knife-wielders, which was organized by Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Daulat Ram Porte, City Superintendent of Police Purani Basti Rajesh Dewangan on the occasion of Holi festival and the upcoming Lok Sabha. Keeping the elections in view, to maintain peace in the area, knife wielders were given strict instructions not to indulge in criminal activities or cause any kind of criminal incident and to present themselves at the concerned police station every week.
