Paragliding Cross Country World Cup in Billing soon
Beed. Adventure Sports Federation of State will soon organize adventure sports with Paragliding Cross Country World Cup in Billing, the famous valley of paragliding. President of Adventure Sports Federation of State and Dharamshala MLA and former minister Sudhir Sharma said this on Tuesday on the occasion of the inauguration of the office of the Federation opened in Paragliding Valley Beed. He inaugurated this office by performing Havan Yagya.
He said that 19 adventure sports from across the state are affiliated with Himachal Pradesh Federation. The main objective of the Federation is to encourage and promote adventure sports in the entire state. He said that the Federation will soon organize adventure sports like adventure sports, paragliding, water rafting, trekking, skin rock climbing etc. at international level in the entire state. He said that a route will be made from Beed Billing to Baia Rajgundha Barot Jhatingri trekking.
He said that along with Billing paragliding, the route of Mount Viking from Dharamshala to Ott (Kull) would be started from next year. This route earlier used to connect Chamba Kangra and Kullu districts since the time of Punjab Government. Adventure Sports Federation General Secretary Chetak Kanwar, Avinash Dhawan, Dinesh Pal, Arvind Pal, Arvind Kanwar, Jagdeep Bhalla, Ankush, Gautam Thakur, Satish, Rajesh, Navesh Pal, Mahesh and Trilok were specially present.
Billing Paragliding Association Paragliding next year When asked about the World Cup being organised, Sudhir Sharma said that Narwana site is good for paragliding, but Beed Billing is the best for cross country paragliding. Where the Federation will organize an international level paragliding competition in Billing next year. He also clarified that along with this, any other association can organize competition at its own level in billing, which will benefit the people here. Tourism will get a boost. The objective of our federation is also to increase the interest of the coming generation towards sports and promote tourism. Federation spokesperson Chetak Kambar was specially present on this occasion.
