Noida: Noida’s Master Plan Road No. 2 has sunk by about 15 to 20 feet. Hundreds of vehicles come on this road every day. The people present there have blocked the road by placing barricades near the school. Traffic is being diverted to one lane. It was told that this road had caved in at night. Information about road subsidence was given to senior officials of the authority. After this officers are reaching the spot.
It was told that there was leakage due to bursting of deep sewer line of Sector-27. Due to this the road got eroded from inside. Due to this it sank. It appears to be filled with water. At present, the structure of the entire matter will be investigated.
Let us tell you that this road further connects Noida Greater – Noida Express through DSC and underpass. There is heavy traffic here during peak hours. DGM Water RP Singh said that there is a deep sewer line here. Some leakage has come to light in it. Due to this, erosion occurred and the road caved in.
