Passenger lost his life while traveling in Lichchavi Express
Bihar. A sick passenger died while traveling in train number 14006 Lichchavi Express, operated from Anand Vihar Terminus to Sitamarhi on the local route. The deceased passenger is Dilip Mahato, 55, son of Bigu Mahato, resident of Daudpur in Saran district. The sick passengers were traveling in the ordinary bogie of Down Lichchavi Express train while coming to Delhi. Railway control was informed about the passenger’s death due to his ill health. On information from the control, RPF took out the body from the bogie of Lichchhavi train standing on platform number one of the local junction. After which the train was sent to the next station. Suresh Chandra Pandey, sub-inspector of the local RPF post, said that Dilip Mahato used to live in Delhi city and support his family by selling balloons. He was suffering from asthma. While ill, he had left for home by Lichchavi Express from Delhi.
But as the train came closer to Prayagraj, his health started deteriorating. After this the co-passenger informed his family. Dilip died near Bankata station. The family reached Siwan Junction and submitted an application demanding the dead body. After this, RPF and GRP handed over the body to the family. Three smugglers caught with liquor and bike The police of the local police station took action at different places and arrested three smugglers along with 342 bottles of liquor and three bikes. However, during this police action, a smuggler injured in a road accident is absconding and is undergoing treatment in an unknown hospital. The first action was taken near Bilrua village. Three smugglers were arrested while recovering two bikes and 340 bottles of liquor loaded on them. Among the smugglers caught are Jitesh Jaiswal of Bhingari Bazaar of Khampar police station of Deoria district of UP and Bigu Gond and Nizamuddin Ansari of Imelia village of Bhore police station.
