Passengers upset due to cancellation of trains till 6th December
Bilaspur. After the Meteorological Department issued an alert regarding the threat of Cyclonic Storm Michong in Andhra Pradesh, Railways has canceled 8 trains going to Andhra Pradesh via Chhattisgarh. These trains will remain canceled on different days from 3rd to 6th December.
The Railways has taken this decision due to the indication of Michaung Cyclone hitting the coastal areas and heavy rains.
Railway officials said that the Meteorological Department has issued a warning after the cyclone Michong hit the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh.
Due to which, as a precautionary measure, an order has been issued to cancel some trains running through South East Central Railway. So that, in case of flood, passengers along with passenger trains do not face any problem.
