Patna Nityanand Rai condemned RJD minister’s temple statement
Patna: Angered by the remarks of RJD Minister Chandra Shekhar, Union Minister Nityanand Rai attacked the opposition and asked what enmity they have with Lord Ram and Ram Temple. RJD minister Chandra Shekhar sparked another controversy with his statement on Ram temple and said that if people fall ill or get injured, they will seek medical help instead of going to the temple. Expressing a strong reaction to the statement of RJD Minister Chandrashekhar, Nityanand Rai said, “I do not understand what enmity he has towards Lord Ram and Ram temple that he is opposing it again and again. The determination and policy they are showing.” “It seems they will hang pictures of Babar and Afzal Guru and worship them.”
The minister said, “The country does not need Babar, Afzal Guru or Jinnah of Jinnah, but Ashfaqullah Khan and Captain Hamid. The integrity of Lord Ram is needed here.” Earlier today, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan also criticized the Bihar Education Minister for his harsh comments against Ram Temple and Hindutva. Paswan said ministers making such derogatory statements should be “immediately dismissed”. Paswan told ANI on Monday, “It is beyond my understanding why instead of worrying about his department, he is worried about abusing Sanatan Dharma. I wonder why his party leadership and friends in the alliance tolerate this.” He said, “You are hurting people’s sentiments and provoking them. Ministers making such statements should be immediately dismissed…If his alliance has lost elections in the past, it is because of such statements.” Before the grand inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a controversy has started over RJD Minister Chandra Shekhar’s remarks related to pseudo-Hindutva and pseudo-nationalism. “If you get injured, where will you go? Temple or hospital? If you want education and want to become an officer, MLA or MP, will you go to temple or school?” Shekhar said this to reporters on Sunday. “Fateh Bahadur Singh (RJD MLA) said the same thing which Savitribai Phule had said. What’s wrong here? He quoted Savitribai Phule. Is education not necessary? We should beware of pseudo-Hindutva and pseudo-nationalism.” He added.
