Patwari committed suicide, dead body found hanging in government quarter

Jagdalpur: Patwari committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in the government quarter of Bagmohlai in Bastar police station area. Police got information about the incident late at night. the police has started to investigate.

Giving information about the case, Bastar police station in-charge said that Patwari Sanjay Mahapatra (40 years), living in Jagdalpur Mohan Nagar, went to his office in Bastar like every day on Monday, where it came to light that he was carrying out his office work. Sanjay Mohapatra also talked to his wife late in the evening, when he did not return home as it was night, Sanjay’s son informed his uncle Pradeep Mohapatra on phone that even after the night, his father had not yet returned home. . Pradeep Mahapatra along with some people started searching for Sanjay in the night itself.

When they reached Sanjay’s government office at night, they saw that Sanjay had committed suicide by hanging himself with a thin rope around his neck. Information about the incident was given in Bastar police station. After which the body has been sent for Panchnama to the PM, while the room has also been closed.
