Patwari threatened with death from Kotwal, threatened to kill with axe

Raipur. Kotwal has threatened to kill a Patwari in Raipur. The accused Kotwal, under the influence of alcohol, told the Patwari that he wanted to terminate his employment. Further, the accused threatened to kill me with an axe, saying that you will not be able to uproot anything from me. This entire matter is of Arang police station area. Patwari Digeshwar Prasad Sahu, posted in Khauli village, Mandir Hasaud tehsil of Arang police station area, lodged an FIR in Arang police station on Saturday that he was going to his village Parsada comfortably on January 11 around 4 pm. His friend was also present with him. They stopped for some work on the way.

During this time, Kotwal Mahesh Das of Parsada village came. He was drunk and abused Digeshwar obscenely. When the Patwari refused him, the accused started arguing with him saying that he will not be able to uproot anything from me.

The accused Kotwal did not stop here, he threatened to kill the Patwari with an axe. After this the Patwari left the place because the accused was in an intoxicated state. Arang police station has registered an FIR in this matter and further action is underway.
