Peace will prevail in Tamil Nadu: CM MK Stalin
Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday said that he is striving to establish an egalitarian society through social justice and religious discrimination will have no place as long as he is alive. He also said that although some sections are trying to obstruct the path of his ideals, he wants to remind them that Tamil Nadu is the land where Periyar Ramaswamy was born and it was nurtured on the principles of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. The Chief Minister said, ‘Religious discrimination and casteist ideas will never be allowed to succeed here. This is the land of Periyar and a state based on the principles of Ambedkar. As long as this Stalin is alive, you will not be able to succeed.’
“The downtrodden should get development in all aspects including politics and economy. That is the real liberation,” Stalin said. Referring to the schemes launched by the DMK government for the welfare of Dr Ambedkar, he said that whatever the schemes, the good name the DMK government has got is mainly due to the dedication and service of the sanitation workers.
“Instead of me calling you sanitation workers, I should say you are workers with pure hearts. I express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of you,” the chief minister said.
