Peepal tree fell in Lakhe Nagar, 2 people injured
Raipur. Two people were injured due to the sudden fall of hundreds of years old Peepal tree in the capital. Due to falling of trees on the busy road connecting Lakhe Nagar to Mahadev Ghat, people are facing problems in traffic.
According to the information, at 12.15 pm, a large part of the old Peepal tree at Lakhe Nagar Chowk fell heavily. Due to this, two drivers going from the spot were injured, whose names have been mentioned as Manoj Sahu and Vansh Sonkar. Apart from this, two Activa vehicles have also been buried under the tree. On getting the information, the corporation staff has started the work of removing the tree. On the other hand, due to road block due to falling of trees on the main road, people are facing difficulties in commuting.
