People of all sections of society will hold BJP accountable for stopping their reservation in elections: Deepak Baij
Raipur. BJP has stopped the rights of the people of Chhattisgarh in Raj Bhavan. State Congress President and MP Deepak Baij said that the rights of all the communities of Chhattisgarh, including the tribal community, have been stalled in the Raj Bhavan for 10 months due to the conspiracies of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress government had got the reservation bill for all the communities of the state in proportion to their population passed in the Assembly and sent it to the Raj Bhavan, but the BJP is not allowing it to be signed in the Raj Bhavan. State Congress President and MP Deepak Baij said that the Reservation Amendment Bill is stuck in Raj Bhavan for 10 months. Raj Bhavan has not signed it yet. Big leaders of BJP, from Prime Minister, BJP President to Union Minister, are coming on election tour in the state, but everyone is silent on the reservation bill stalled in Raj Bhavan. Because of BJP the reservation bill is stalled in Raj Bhavan. Congress will take BJP’s anti-reservation attitude among the people. BJP remains an obstacle to the interests of the poor belonging to the reserved category. There is a provision of 32 percent reservation for the tribal community in the Reservation Amendment Bill. If the reservation bill is stalled in the Raj Bhavan, the tribal community is bearing the brunt of it the most.
State Congress President and MP Deepak Baij said that Congress has done its work with full honesty to provide reservation to the entire society and has made provision for reservation for all sections. Provision for reservation was made for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes on the basis of their census and for Backward Classes on the basis of the report of Quantifiable Data Commission. In this bill, there is a provision of 32 percent reservation for Scheduled Tribes, 13 percent for Scheduled Castes and 27 percent for Other Backward Classes. A provision of 4 percent reservation has also been made for the economically weaker general category people. Reservation of 76 percent has been decided according to the population of all sections. If this bill takes the form of law, people of every section will be satisfied. This bill has been made to implement social justice by connecting people of all deprived sections with the mainstream. This bill has been passed unanimously by the Assembly, stopping it is an insult to public opinion. In the elections, people of all sections of society will hold the BJP to account for stopping their reservation. State Congress President and MP Deepak Baij said that Amit Shah is completely responsible for the reservation bill which is stuck in Raj Bhavan. The Governor works under the direction of the Union Home Minister and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has kept it on hold maliciously so that the people of the state do not get the benefit of reservation and the Bhupesh government does not get political benefits. BJP is afraid that if 76 percent reservation is implemented in Bhupesh government, then OBC, ST, SC and EWS will get the right to reservation and after that BJP will not be in a position to save even 14 seats in the elections. By blocking the reservation bill, which was passed unanimously in the Assembly, in the Raj Bhavan, Shah is hampering the interest of the entire society of Chhattisgarh. Shah does not at all want the unemployed youth and people of the state to get their rights. BJP and Shah want to see the youth of Chhattisgarh deprived of their rights and wandering from door to door. Congress will make BJP’s anti-reservation character an election issue.
