People of Ward 11 are living hellish life due to dirty water filling their houses, administration unaware
Punhana. Dirty water from the drain is filling the houses of the people of Ward 11 of the city located on Hodal-Nagina Road. Despite repeated complaints by the people, the drain is not being cleaned and the water is being removed. Due to which people are forced to live a hellish life. People have demanded Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata to solve the problem. Ward 11 residents Dinesh and Tara Chand Goyal told that there is a drain outside their house. Which always overflows due to lack of regular cleaning. The drain water is overflowing and entering our houses. Due to which there is always foul smell in the houses and mosquitoes continue to breed. Due to which children and elders are falling ill every day. To solve the problem, complaints have been made several times from the Municipality to the CM Window, but no solution has been given to the problem. The problem becomes even worse during rainy season. Due to lack of regular cleaning of drains, the dirty water does not go further and remains stuck here. We have been facing this problem for many years, but even after this the municipal administration is not paying any attention to it. Starting from the Municipal Secretary to other officials, they do not come out of their offices and look at the problems of the people. Lakhs of rupees are spent every month in the name of cleaning, but complete cleaning is not done on the ground. In the name of cleanliness, the Municipal Corporation is being negligent. If the problem is not resolved soon, this issue will be taken up before the Grievances to the Chief Minister.
