The surprising thing is that this thief was neither afraid of the police nor of being caught. Every late night the New Police Line would come and steal petrol from the bikes and pass away with ease. At present this fearless thief has been caught and investigation is going on. Actually, a young man was stealing petrol for the last few days in the New Police Line located near Jail Chowk of Durg. The young man’s actions were being continuously captured on CCTV, which he was also aware of. Despite this, he would come to the colony late at night every day.
He would steal petrol from the bikes and run away. If you see the CCTV footage, you will know that there were some other people along with the accused who were riding the bike. That means if someone comes, immediately run away from there. It can also be seen in the CCTV footage that after stealing one bottle of petrol, the accused takes out petrol from the bike in another bottle also. The residents of Police Line were troubled by the incidents of petrol theft every day.
