Phone tapping case: KCR said, will reveal the facts soon

Rajanna-Sirsila: Former chief minister and BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday said he will soon respond and reveal the facts on the alleged phone tapping case. He said that in his capacity as a two-time former Chief Minister, he would give clarity on this issue without fail. His reaction came in the wake of the arrest of senior police officers from the intelligence department who worked closely with him.

Addressing media persons here, KCR alleged that the agriculture sector in the state is in crisis due to the incompetence of the Congress government.
He threatened that he would lead a march with 50,000 farmers to Medigadda if the government failed to repair the barrage and provide immediate relief to the farming community.
“Do they (Congress) even know how many pumps there are in the Kaleshwaram project? Minor flaws keep occurring in projects. They are showing them under magnifying glasses,” the former chief minister said.

He threatened to launch a massive agitation against the government’s “criminal negligence” in repairing the Medigadda Barrage. KCR accused the Congress government of deliberately neglecting to repair the barrage, resulting in widespread damage to crops.

List of 209 farmers who died by suicide sent to government: KCR
KCR said that he had sent a list of 209 farmers who died by suicide during the last 100 days. “I have sent the list to the chief secretary and no follow-up action has been taken so far,” he said.

The former CM, after inspecting crop damage in Karimnagar and Sirikla districts, demanded payment of Rs 25 lakh as ex-gratia to the kin of farmers who committed suicide and Rs 25,000 per acre to those farmers whose crops failed due to drought conditions. The reason was it had dried up. ,

He said that due to lack of water, standing crops in about 15 lakh acres have dried up. KCR said, “The crisis is the contribution of the Congress government.” He demanded that calculation of crop damage should be started immediately and compensation should be given without any delay.

He said, after the Congress government came to power, the state went back to the pre-2014 days when people in Telangana, which was part of the undivided Andhra Pradesh state, used to suffer due to lack of drinking water and irrigation facilities. He alleged that the Congress failed to implement the promises made during the recent assembly elections.

KCR said the state government had released water into the left canal of Nagarjuna Sagar only after visiting the parched lands and distressed farmers in Suryapet district recently. He said, after coming to know about their farmers’ outreach program in Karimnagar and Sircilla districts today, the same day the government released Kaleshwaram water into the flood flow canal.

The BRS chief termed crop insurance as a useless scheme of the Central Government and said that it has no takers even in Gujarat.

KCR claimed that he remained silent for the last four months because he wanted to give enough time to Congress leaders to find their feet, but governance is going from bad to worse, forcing him to come out and expose the government’s incompetence. Had to be forced. Said.

According to KCR, the collapse of the piers of the Medigadda Barrage was not a cause for concern as such incidents were “common”.
