Pickup fell into Shivnath river, 4 people died

Durg: The pickup vehicle fell into the river from the old bridge of Shivnath river located on Pulgaon bypass in the district. The family was returning from Dhaba late on Tuesday night after having dinner. Then the accident happened due to loss of balance. It is being told that four people were traveling in the vehicle. SDRF team has traced the vehicle. The bodies of 4 people are said to be trapped inside. Pickup being rolled out.

According to eyewitnesses, around 1 o’clock on Tuesday night, a pickup vehicle was coming from Rajnandgaon towards Durg. There were more than four people in it. Everyone was returning after having food from some dhaba. Suddenly the vehicle lost its balance and it fell into the river. People informed the police about it. SDRF team is doing rescue since early morning today.

The SDRF team discovered the pickup around 8 am. After this, he is being taken out by tying it with a rope. When it was pulled with a tractor, the rope broke. Due to this the pickup again went into the water. Efforts are being made to take it out again through a crane.
