PIL of former Home Minister rejected, High Court gave a big blow
Bilaspur. The High Court has rejected the PIL filed by former Home Minister Nanki Ram Kanwar demanding cancellation of appointments and fraud in CG PSC 2021-22. In the case, the Division Bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha and Justice NK Chandravanshi said that as per the demand made in the petition, former Chairman Taman Sonwani, former Secretary Jeevan Kishore Dhruv, Raj Bhavan Secretary Amrit Khalkho, Controller of Examinations and other officers and leaders will be booked in the case. EOW has registered an FIR and investigation is underway against other accused. On the CBI investigation, the court said that the government has to take a decision on this. After the investigation by the government, if any party is dissatisfied then it can appeal again in the High Court.

Let us tell you that former Home Minister Nanki Ram Kanwar had filed a PIL in the High Court regarding irregularities in the recruitment of Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission for the year 2021-22. In which the list of 18 selected candidates has also been presented before the court by PSC alleging fraud in the recruitment process. In which around half a dozen relatives of the then PSC Chairman Taman Singh Sonwani were selected on other posts including Deputy Collector, daughter and son of State Public Service Commission Secretary Amrit Khalkho, son of the then Collector of Mungeli PS Elma, Congress leader Rajendra Shukla. The name of Bastar Naxal Operation DIG’s son and daughter of Bastar Naxal Operation DIG were included. It is alleged that all these appointments have been done through the back door due to influence.
