Business Business: The Curve SUV Coupe is the latest vehicle in the Tata Motors portfolio. The company has launched it in both electric and internal combustion engine versions (petrol and diesel). The ex-showroom price of Curve Electric is Rs 17.49 lakh and the ex-showroom price of Curve Petrol is Rs 9.99 lakh. Both prices are indicative. The electric coupe SUV had 3,455 customers in August. This means that the company has had a good start in the Indian market. The sales data is only 9 days. It is clear that people are liking this car. In such a situation, now the details of the waiting period have come to the fore.
The design of the Tata Curve EV is attractive. It has an attractive front fascia equipped with stylish LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. There are also networked taillights with welcome and farewell animations at the rear. It also has a closed front grille, sloping roof, 18-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles and black accents on the wheel arches. Its sporty appeal is further enhanced by the shark fin antenna, roof spoiler and silver skid plate as well as aerodynamically designed alloy wheels.
The Tata Curve EV has been launched in a total of 5 monotone shades. These include Pristine White, Flame Red, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey and Virtual Sunrise. Three of these shades are carried over from the Nexon EV, with Pure Grey being unique to the Curve EV. The Curve EV does not offer a two-tone finish. It was launched in five trim levels: Smart, Pure, Creative, Dexterous and Empowered. The trunk volume is 500 litres, which can be expanded up to 973 litres. The front trunk has 35 litres of space available. The ground clearance is 190 mm.
The Curve EV has an extremely luxurious cabin. It offers the latest infotainment and connectivity features. It gets a dual-tone instrument panel, panoramic sunroof with voice control and ambient lighting, touchpad climate control and a 4-spoke steering wheel. It also gets a 12.3-inch floating cinema touchscreen and a 10.25-inch Harman digital driver display.
