PM Modi Administers Nine-Point Oath in Karnataka Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi administered an oath to the people of Karnataka. He asked them to do the nine things he said if the country is to develop, and they should take an oath to do those nine things. He administered the oath to the people to that extent. Today, the Prime Minister visited the Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math in Karnataka. Later, the Prime Minister addressed a gathering there and took an assurance from the people on 9 things.
“I want nine promises from you. For a developed Karnataka, all of you should pledge to fulfill those 9 promises. If these promises are followed diligently and honestly, the development of Karnataka as well as the country will also happen faster,” said Prime Minister Modi. He then informed the people about those 9 things. The Prime Minister took an assurance from the people that they would not waste water, would maintain cleanliness in public places, and would plant saplings in the name of Amma.
Similarly, the Prime Minister took assurances that he would promote ‘Vocal for Local’ Swadeshiism, develop the national environmental sector, cultivate crops without chemicals, include millets in the diet, completely reduce oil content, and serve nature by keeping fit and weight under control. The Prime Minister took assurances related to a total of 9 works. He said that free medical facilities are being provided to crores of people as part of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He reminded that under this scheme, elderly people above 70 years of age are also being provided with the opportunity to get medical treatment.
