PM Modi can address two public meetings in February
Hyderabad: With Lok Sabha elections approaching, the BJP is fine-tuning its campaign strategy in the state. Sources said the saffron party is planning two big public meetings to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February.
The party plans to organize these public meetings in North and South Telangana so that it can reach out to as many voters as possible. The saffron party hopes that these high-profile public addresses will motivate the state cadre and unite BJP supporters across the state. The BJP, which currently has four sitting MPs, is eyeing at least 10 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections, a target set by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The aim is to elevate BJP as the main opposition party in Telangana by defeating BRS. The party believes that by the time of the next assembly elections, it should be in a position to compete with the Congress.
The state leadership of the saffron party has already set up various committees to streamline the campaign and grassroots operations.
These committees are organized by units and include Coordination Committee, Election Committee, Vikassheel Bharat Sankalp Yatra Coordination Committee, Beneficiary Contact Abhiyan Committee of Central Schemes, Ramalaya Pran Pratishtha Abhiyan Committee, Nav Voter Conference Committee, Mahila Sankshem Abhiyan Committee, SC/ST Conference committee includes. And village level Chalo Abhiyan Committee.
To coordinate between these various panels, the state leader along with the party’s national in-charge Tarun Chugh and Sunil Bansal will hold meetings with the committees on January 7 and 8. During these meetings, party in-charges are expected to give instructions and share strategies for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They are also expected to emphasize the importance of door-to-door campaigns.
