PM Modi to attend Sathya Sai Baba centenary celebrations in Puttaparthi on November 19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Andhra Pradesh on November 19th. He will participate in the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the Sri Sathya Sai district.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay homage to Sri Sathya Sai Baba by visiting his sacred shrine and Mahasamadhi at 10 a.m., accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He will then participate in the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The Prime Minister will release a commemorative coin and a set of postage stamps dedicated to the life, teachings, and enduring legacy of Sathya Sai Baba. He will also address the gathering during the event.

The Prime Minister will later travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025. During the event, he will release the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). The Prime Minister will release over ₹18,000 crore (approximately ₹18,000 crore) to provide assistance to 90 million farmers across the country under the scheme.

Chief Minister Naidu will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Puttaparthi Airport on Wednesday at 9:25 a.m.

As per the schedule announced by the state government, both leaders will visit Prasanthi Nilayam and offer prayers at the Sathya Sai Baba Mahasamadhi.

The Chief Minister and the Prime Minister will then proceed to the Hill View Stadium and participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba.

After bidding farewell to the Prime Minister at Puttaparthi Airport, the Chief Minister will proceed to Pendlimarri in the Kamalapuram constituency of Kadapa district to participate in the second phase of the Annadata Sukhibhava Yojana fund distribution program.

Under the Annadata Sukhibhava Yojana and the PM Kisan Yojana, each farmer will receive ₹7,000. A total of 46,85,838 farmers across the state will benefit from this scheme, and ₹3,135 crore will be distributed. Under the first and second installments, farmers will receive a total of ₹6,309.44 crore.

After this, the Chief Minister will interact with the workers of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and will reach Amaravati by Wednesday night.
